The Pines Preservation Guild has announced the winners of its second annual Historic Preservation Merit Awards, with the new Aberdeen Library as one of two recipients. The awards acknowledge the effort to restore historic buildings in Moore County. The award made to the Aberdeen Library highlights commercial preservation. A second award focused on residential preservation. The awards were presented on February 27th at the Rosewood Cottage in Southern Pines.
